Hi All,
I just discovered a new alarm in my sort of new car. I was checking the outside temperature and a bell started ringing and an indicator started flashing to let me know that it was 37 degrees here in sunny southern California! That's right, it was almost freezing. I was speaking to my Dad at the time and he suggested I come home to the Jersey shore to warm up.
Which leads me to a request. If any of you living in the homeland know of kids who'd like to shovel snow for some extra cash, please let me know so that I can put them in touch with my parents. They actually bought a snow blower a few years ago, but it seems to have sprung a gas leak, and I'm not excited about my 74 year old father shoveling the sidewalk if you get a storm this weekend. For some reason, they don't think there are any kids around Oakhurst who are available to shovel. They still live right behind Fireman's Field. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks, Mindy
