Thought about you last weekend when we were up on the Tail of the Dragon in the NC mountains. We stayed at a great bed and breakfast near the Joyce Kilmer Forest and ran into a guest from Pompano who was stuck there as his house had some amount of damage and no electricity. He figured it was better to stick around in the mountains and watch the foliage instead of fighting for gas and water down in Florida. 
 
Glad to hear that you got through it all in one piece.

Hi all...Mary, thanks for the thoughts. This hurricane season certainly has been exhausting. Our house did great. No structural damage, just pain in the ass stuff to take care of (i.e. our ceiling under the house is gone, part of the garage siding...). The flooding happened on the bay side and we live on the ocean, so by the grace of the hurricane gods, we were spared flooding. 

Hope all is well with the rest...
