It's amazing to me how this 'ol world gets smaller all
the time.....
I was up in Melbourne [38 miles north of Vero Beach]
tonite, in the historic downtown section of the city,
& stopped for dinner at Meg O'Malley's Irish Pub. They
have a Really Large selection of Great Beers On Tap &
serve Wonderfully Delicious food [not to mention
Sinful Desserts!].
Tonite's Bill of Fare for me was Blackened Prime Rib
sandwich & Blue Moon Ale....major yummers!!
Got to talking with the waiter [noticing his
ear-pleasing Northern accent [read that: sounds of
home!], & asked where he was from originally.
His reply: "The Jersey Shore....yeah, Monmouth
Regional used to kick our butts regularly in
football!"
Which, of course, immediately told me he attended
Shore Regional! [class of '79]
Like I said....it's a small world after all [thank
you, Walt Disney]!
Mary J. :-)
