Those of us who work in the cloistered world of education have staggered
to the Finish Line of the old year.  We are lucky to have a substantial
break before we ratchet up for the next marking period or semester.  

I want to wish a Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays to all my colleagues in
education, but I want to send a special thank you for all my friends who
work in the real world, get up every day and do their job and get just
the Christmas and New Year holiday to disconnect from the daily work
grind.

Were it not for the fine and dedicated people who get up every day just
to do their job, I wouldn't have the opportunity to do mine, and I truly
appreciate their efforts.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all.
